"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."
When I was in my early 20's and starting in the corporate world, a forty-something co-worker had a poster with that quote on it. I thought it was funny in a tounge-in-cheek kind of way.
I'm not laughing anymore. I feel like I've regressed a number of years and have all but lost the ability to think. I recall that saying now and can only nod in reluctant acceptance.
Life is a journey - this is mine.

Are you stressed out?
Steve, I'm getting quite concerned for you. Sounds like corporate America has swallowed you, and is busy stripping the meat off your bones while you go round in it's mouth.
:p
Steve, You don't know me, I don't know you but I found your blog while looking for some information about another guy who shared your name. I did some work with him and his wife and found out today that he passed away unexpectedly while I was out of town. It's pretty obvious after reading a few of your posts that it hasn't been a great couple of years for you but you still appreciate the things that are important to you like your son and your wife. The man who passed was a GREAT guy and lived life to the fullest. He was only 64. The corporate stuff...you won't miss. You're a good man for taking time out to eat lunch with your kid. It's those things that mean everything.
